HIJAB ACCESSORIES

A hijab fixer is the small accessory that decides whether a scarf stays where you put it. Ours is a soft, matte silicone piece that sits under your hijab and holds the shape around your head — it keeps hair in place and stops the fabric sliding back to your shoulders, without adding bulk or pressing on the head.

Why it is made the way it is

The open cut-out design is what makes it work. A solid dome would sit heavy and trap heat; the cut-out keeps the fixer light and breathable, so it disappears under the scarf and the fabric still falls naturally instead of standing away from your head. The silicone itself is flexible and skin-friendly, so it presses comfortably rather than digging in. It is one size, which is why it works with every scarf in the shop — a 70 × 70 cm wrap, a longer 180 × 70 cm shawl, or a fine chiffon piece that moves more than a cotton one.

The included storage case is a practical detail rather than an extra: it keeps the fixer clean and protected in a drawer or a bag between wears, so it does not pick up dust or hair and it is ready the next morning.

How to use it

Place it under your hijab at the crown and back of the head, then pull the scarf over it and adjust the fall as usual. Most people find it works best with a scarf that has some weight to it — mercerized cotton, modal, or a printed polyester shawl — because the fabric needs enough body to sit against the fixer rather than slide over it. With very fine chiffon, place the fixer slightly higher so it holds the crown before the fabric drapes.

Pair it with the scarves it was designed for: our mercerized cotton hijabs have enough structure to sit on their own, while our printed chiffon and modal hijabs benefit most from the extra hold.

Care and delivery

Wash the fixer by hand in cool water with mild detergent and let it dry in the shade — no bleach, no tumble dryer. It is a one-time purchase that lasts as long as the silicone holds its shape.
