Head coverings are where most modest wardrobes start and end. This collection brings together every hijab and khimar we make — 145 designs in chiffon, jersey, cotton, silk blends and printed crepe, from plain everyday wraps to statement marble and watercolor pieces. A khimar adds length and structure around the face; a hijab is the simpler scarf you can style in more ways. Both live here so you can pick by fabric, by print and by the look you are trying to build.
Choosing by fabric
Chiffon is the lightest, most fluid option and the easiest to wrap in different ways. It drapes without bulk and works for evening and occasion dressing. Jersey is soft, stretchy and stays in place without pins — the most practical choice for daily wear, work and travel. Cotton and cotton blends breathe well and feel natural against the skin, ideal for warm climates and long days. Printed crepe and silk blends hold a print and a soft sheen while staying light.
Choosing by size
Size is the single thing that decides whether a hijab works for you. A standard shawl is 180cm long by 70cm wide, which gives you enough fabric for a draped style, a turban wrap or a layered look. The wider 80×180cm shawls are the oversized style that covers more and needs fewer pins. Shorter 70×180cm and 70×70cm squares are the everyday basics that tuck easily under the chin. Every product page here has its exact dimensions in centimetres and inches, plus a weight in grams so you can tell a whisper-light chiffon from a more substantial wrap.
Choosing by print
Solid colours are the quietest and the most reusable — they work with everything else you own. Marble and ink-flow prints give a soft, cloud-like look in black, grey, brown and coffee tones. Watercolor florals are softer and more romantic. Polka dot, leopard, geometric and abstract prints are the boldest, and they work best when the rest of your outfit is plain. Keffiyeh-inspired patterns carry a specific heritage look. If you are building a small collection, start with two solid colours in different fabrics and add one print that makes you happy.
How to style
Match the undercap to the fabric: a firm cap under jersey, a soft cap under chiffon. For the drape, an 80×180cm shawl can be styled as a classic shoulder drape, a turban, or a layered wrap over a fitted base. Keep the colour story tight — if the scarf is patterned, pick a plain abaya in a neutral shade, and if the scarf is solid, let it be the one bright element. Long scarves also work as an open shawl over an abaya for cooler months.
Care
Chiffon and silk blends wash best by hand in cool water with mild detergent. Jersey can go on a gentle machine cycle and dries quickly without ironing. Printed and marble pieces should be dried in shade to protect the print. Store folded rather than on a hanger so the shape is preserved.
